ENDOSCOPY
A non-invasive camera and retrieval system that can remove foreign bodies (balls, bones, toys) from the esophagus and stomach. Endodcopy can also be utilized to evaluate the lining of the digestive tract and obtain biopsies from abnormal tissue that may help diagnose inflammatory bowel disease and cancer. This non-invasive procedure may preclude the need for major surgery.

DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY
Digital radiography (DR) is essentially a filmless method to obtain “X-Rays”. The ability to obtain radiographs with extensive detail in the matter of a few seconds can be life saving in critical situations. Images taken at our hospital can be viewed online, emailed to specialists for interpretation and are usually provided to owners on a disc that can be viewed on a computer.

ULTRASOUND (Sonography)
A non-invasive and safe method of medical imaging that produces detailed images of internal organs such as the heart, lung, kidney, liver and spleen utilizing sound waves. Sonography can quickly determine if a trauma patient has sustained internal injuries such as bleeding, hernia or punctured lung/bowel, requiring rapid treatment and potentially life-saving procedures. Sonography is also used to evaluate pregnancy, heart, liver and kidney disease, image lymph nodes, bile ducts, uterus, digestive tract and also can be used to look for evidence of cancer.

LABORATORY SERVICES
State-of-the-art equipment allows us to quickly obtain blood chemistries, complete blood counts, electrolyte levels, blood gas analysis and coagulation system evaluation within minutes.

TRANSFUSION PRODUCTS
Plasma and blood products are kept on hand at all times and are available to all the surrounding veterinary hospitals 24-hours a day.
