Travis Dennett, DVM
Dr. Travis Dennett graduated from Kansas State University in 1996 and completed an internship through the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. After his internship, he became interested in the field of emergency and critical care and helped establish the Lake Ray Hubbard Emergency Pet care Center in 1997. Dr. Dennett loves to push his staff to learn something new every day and enjoys spending time with his family; Tyler-20, Preston-19, Carsen-3, Chloe-1, wife Amanda, cat “Tiger” and amazing dog “Mico”. Dr. Dennett has a pilot’s license but hasn’t had much time to fly lately! He also enjoys running and golfing.

Carmen Woolley, DVM, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine
Dr. Woolley was born and raised in northern New Jersey where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown. She then attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State in Stillwater, OK where she received her DVM degree. Dr. Woolley then spent a year as a rotating intern at the California Animal Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She completed her small animal internal medicine residency at Cornell University in Ithaca New York and fulfilled all requirements necessary to achieve board certification by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Dr. Woolley’s publications include an article on canine hyperparathyroidism. Review of Hyperparathyroidism (August 2009) Compendium, as well as a Textbook chapter. Dysphagia and Regurgitation in Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Ettinger and Feldman 7th edition.
Dr. Woolley practiced as a staff internist in the California bay area from 2007-2009 where she enjoyed all aspects of internal medicine. She enjoys the challenge of diagnosing and treating complex disease processes as well as performing advanced non-invasive diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy (upper GI/colonoscopy), cystoscopy, rhinoscopy and bronchoscopy. Dr. Woolley has clinical interests in immune-mediated disorders and the use of novel therapies in treating these various disorders. In her spare time Dr. Woolley enjoys spending time with her husband and two Chihuahuas “Frodo” and “Martini” as well as reading, running, tennis and shopping.

Michelle Hazlewood, DVM
Dr. Hazlewood graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Animal Science in 1996 and then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State in 1999. She spent two years in general practice in Clearwater, Florida before deciding to work exclusively in emergency medicine. She joined the team of LRH emergency pet care in 2006. Away from work, she spends her time with her husband, Tad, of 15 years and her two beautiful children, Dax(5) and Daphne(2) along with the two family pets, "Sterling" and "Dali". In her limited free time, Dr. Hazlewood enjoys OSU football, snow skiing, and traveling.

Melanie Beghtel, DVM
Dr. Beghtel graduated from Texas A&M University in 2006 and began her career in general practice. In 2007 she left general practice behind to work exclusively at the Lake Ray Hubbard Emergency Pet Care Center. Dr. Beghtel is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association. In her free time, Dr. Beghtel enjoys horseback riding, reading and spending time with her friends, family and two dogs: a Boston Terrier named Tinker Bell and a mixed breed named Monkey. She and her husband, Matthew, recently celebrated the birth of their first child, Gage in April, 2010.

Amanda Randle, DVM
Amanda Randle, DVM grew up in a suburb of Houston, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Biomedical Science in 2002 and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2006. She started her career in Wylie, TX at a dog, cat, horse practice where she met her husband, Mark, at the clinic after his dog ran into a cactus. After her first two years in practice, she started focusing on dogs and cats at a veterinary clinic in Dallas. In 2010, she joined Lake Ray Hubbard Emergency Pet Care Center and directed her attention to emergency and critical care. Dr. Randle is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time Dr. Randle enjoys spending time with her husband, dancing, riding her horse, playing with her dogs, hiking, traveling, and going on mission trips

Kimberly Claus, DVM
Dr. Claus is a local girl who knew by the age of six that her passion was veterinary medicine. After graduating North Mesquite High School, she attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Veterinary and Biomedical Science. She obtained her Doctorate in 2007 from Oklahoma State University and recently was accepted into a residency program for Emergency and Critical Care at the Louisville Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services. Her extended family includes two Great Danes; Dirk and Dexter.

Michael Lamping, DVM
Dr. Lamping graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and joined the staff at Lake Ray Hubbard Emergency Pet Center in 2006 working Saturdays or Sundays. During the weekdays he practices general small animal medicine and surgery as a relief veterinarian in the area, including hospitals in Garland, Dallas, Rockwall, Rowlett, and Sachse.

Clinical Interests: pain management, soft tissue surgery, wound therapy, internal medicine, small mammal medicine, and applications of radiofrequency and laser surgical devices.

Dr. Lamping resides in Murphy, TX. When not helping pets, he prefers to spend time with his boys teaching them how to play soccer and baseball and make the perfectly folded paper airplane. His hobbies include writing, drawing, and storytelling. He enjoys traveling to state and national parks. A little known fact is that he likes to hunt fossils and has acquired quite a collection from his hometown, Boerne, which sits down in the live oak tree-covered limestone hills of the Texas Hill Country.

Cody Daniels, DVM
Dr. Daniels graduated with his doctorate from Texas A&M University and began his career here at LRH-VRCED in 2011. He grew up in Wills Point, a small town about an hour east of mesquite. His interest in veterinary medicine was sparked at a young age growing up on a cattle ranch with numerous family pets. Dr. Daniels’ interests include small animal emergency and critical care as well as the treatment of exotic pets. Outside of work, Dr. Daniels enjoys traveling and spending time with his German Shepherd “Sasha”, family and friends.
